Third Time’s the Charm

I hate that word – Hiatus.

I know what you’re thinking… if it’s gone, it’s gone and most Simmer’s who go on hiatus with a Legacy just move on to something new. And Deb hasn’t played since March.

Well, true, but that’s because in March, I had my birthday, my daughter’s birthday, my parents coming to visit, everyone (my daughter, my husband, my son and then myself) getting a bit of a nasty bug, and … the need to finish my AU Big Bang story before the dead line… and I did no Simming at all from March 7th til last night.

However, I also failed to notice the site – Sims 3 Legacy – where I was originally hosting Bella on Her Own Terms (with my site and LJ as back ups), decided to take a vacation. That is to say, I get a 403 Error when I visit the site.

I can still get into the ADMIN, but it’s useless if I can’t publish anything from it and have people see it.

For now, the pictures are still showing and that’s good. But what it is means is I’m going to edit every post (I know… UGH) and change every picture.

(And here, folks who were complaining that I don’t use enough pictures in my Legacy posts – because EVERY legacy post needs 100+ pictures all the time – now you know why. Deb is not as insane as she sometimes looks. Or acts… or… well, you know… yeah. Because if I did do the whole 100+Picture thing, there would be no way in hell I was editing those to fix it and Bella’s legacy would definitely be gone like the wind.)

However, it’s gonna take a while, because there were still over 20 posts and I have a life off my computer right now… one that mostly revolves around potty training my toddler and taking my daughter to soccer practice, but you know… a life.

So… there you have it. March was hell, the place where I was hosting the legacy is gone, and RL wins the award for best time consumer ever.
