Wishing for Slower Aging

Simmer’s Notes: We’re not really wishing for slower aging sims, but it might seem that they’ve aged too fast from the last update to this one. I totally suck sometimes at remembering to take decent pictures.

Anyway… when last we left Mavie and Alex Souhaitent, they’d gotten married, gotten busy and had the first of two children – their daughter, Noelle.  Now let’s say hello to their son, Neil.

But wait a minute!  Where did Neil come from, you ask?

Wishing For A Family

Simmer’s Notes: I really ought to attempt to update Mavie, too, considering I’m still playing her family sporadically and she’s got grandkids and is dead now… but not in this update! Yay for slow updates!


So when we last left Mavie, Alex the Cute Fireman had put out several of her fires… started a few of his own, and moved in with our girl.

Wishful Living with Mavie

Simmers Note: A friend of mine is testing out a challenge she’d eventually like to unleash on the world.  It’s called “Wishful Living” and the idea is to complete every Lifetime Wish, while “seeing” as much of the neighborhood as possible.  (Tentative test rules are here.  They may change as testing progresses.)

So this is Mavie Souhaitent.  Her name is a scrambling of “souhaitent de ma vie” which is French for “my life’s wish.”  It’s pronounced “Soo-wet-ay” but the hicks in Riverview, where Mavie suddenly finds herself on fine morning pronounce it “Soo-hay-tent.”
