And because we ended the last real post about Bob’s family without revealing what Roberta looked like after her birthday, we’ll start with her.
Roberta is now a YA and looking for love. This guy is Nate Adams, the firefighter who came when she accidentally caught on fire. Nate was okay and they got along fine…. until Roberta went to work and Nate decided it was okay to stick around and hit on Tamara. Eeeep.
Here’s another prospect… Alton Somethingorother. He is a Snob, however and refuses to enter the house whener Roberta invites him inside.
And this… is none other than Mortimer Goth. Single, wealthy Mortimer Goth.
Roberta does not seem to care about ‘ancient history that is yet to come’ and decides that Mortimer is good to share her first kiss with.
Bob, as a Special Agent. He is slowly closing in on his LTW of Super Spy or whatever it was. I personally think he looks a lot like Maxwell Smart in this get up.
Tamara thinks it makes him look dashing and alluring…
Looking like Maxwell Smart does not actually make Bob any more so… here he is working undercover to inflitrate the local crime syndicate… he took the police cruiser as his vehicle and parked out front. /facepalm
Roberta playing her guitar. She’s considering switching careers from her job at the bookstore to the music career.
She’s had several skills opportunities pop up to play her guitar in public places and lots of wants to play in the park, for tips.
She made over $500 in tips… and then the game crashed.
It happened when some guy listening to her up and dies… he wasn’t an old man, so I have no clue why he died… but he did… and once Grimmy came for him, the game crashed.
Maybe it was the public death scenario… maybe my puter was over heated… or maybe the Sim Universe simply could not handle the fact that Roberta was days away from taking Bella Bachelor’s place as Mortimer Goth’s first and most loved wife.
Whatever the reason, the game crashed and I lost it all. Roberta got her (second) First Kiss from Alton, though she is still very close with Mortimer.
Bob rummaging through the Goth trash can. He got caught by Mortimer (who didn’t seem to care and invited him inside to watch TV with him) but still netted a chuck of titanium… or plutonium. Why do the Goths have this? I don’t know!
Getting caught rummaging appears to be a deal breaker. Even if you’ve questioned the sim and go back to rummaging, you don’t get to write the report. Or… Bob didn’t, anyway.
And finally… Death came for Tamara.
It started with her levitating off the ground, with lots of sparkles at her feet…
Then she turned transparent…
And Grimmy arrives on the scene. He does this whole ceremonial spiel, waving his scythe around and mumbling incoherently and then it’s done… Tamara is gone, replaced by a small square urn. Which looks stupid and not at all as cool as the Sims 2 urns.
Also, I miss the Hula Zombies and Grimmy’s humor. Where’s his list of people to take today and his cell phone to call and make sure he got the right address? Poor Grimmy has been stripped of his redeeming qualities. It is sad, really.

I noticed a few times when Sherman couldn’t do a report on some one. odd aint it? Oh well.
I agree. Grimmy is not nearly as fascinating as he used to be. And that square thing is so generic and ugly! Did you move it outside? Does it change?
Grim will still stick around and watch TV and I had him playing chess with one of the girls, ha ha! They now have Grim as an “Acquaintance.” Acquainted with Death, ha ha!
The whole ghost business is icky to me. If they can do everything they did while still alive, there’s no point in them being dead.

HAHAHAH!!! Aeronwy did that when she was working her way up the corporate spy-ladder too! (Lewis missed out on that opportunity, probably ’cause Madison wouldn’t let him take her car and he was smart enough NOT to take the cruiser. *giggles*)

Oh, poor Roberta, missing out on the catch that is Mortimer Goth. But I think the whole Sim Universe rebelling thing is why your game crashed. *nods* (Although both Mortimer and Bella died without ever hooking up in my game. Silly sims.)
Maybe the Goths were making a bomb? *nod* Lewis got caught rummaging through someone’s trash and wasn’t able to write up a report on her either. But she was NOT nice about it and he’s got … not an enemy, but someone he really doesn’t like now. (So he went and questioned EVERYONE ELSE in her family, so he could keep tabs on all of them! *giggles*)
Aww, by Tamara! *sniffles* Did you put Tamara’s urn outside? It turns into a nice obelisk then. (Or at least if she died happy it does.)
GAK!! All of that work, all of that stuff that would have ripped open the time-space-continuum so that Bella Goth never would have been … and maybe she never would have gotten abducted by aliens and never would have gotten a town named after her or a statue put up in Belladonna Cove, and it’s all gone cuz the computer crashed. :O((((( *iz sad*
But … oh well. She looked like she had a good life … and death … even those “The Grim One” seems to have been stripped bare. *sniffles* Still a good read though! Although, I don’t recall Roberta catching on fire. O__o
