Simmer’s Note: I’m still dealing with the loss of the pictures here, but only for a smidge. Bear with me a little longer, people.

A lot happened in Bailey’s life after she broke up with Skip. Both her brothers — Ben and Buck — became teenagers, she applied for a job at a science lab, and she met someone new. Or rather, reconnected with someone.
His name was Dimitri Ivanov and he had gone to school with Bailey, albeit a few years ahead of him. She remembered him from those times as a dashing upperclassman who had all the girls swooning over him. Imagine her surprise when she ran into him outside the movie theater.
He called her name, kind of hesitantly, and when she turned at the sound, he laughed warmly.
“I thought that was you! Bailey Barnsworth!” Still laughing, he said, “I bet you don’t remember me. We went to school together.”
“Oh no, I remember you, Dimitri,” Bailey said, then kicked herself for sounding like a noob.
But the chance encounter bloomed into something more. Dimitri asked her out to dinner, and she accepted. Soon, they were dating almost exclusively. Dimitri is a musician, and one of the things he does to sweep Bailey off her feet is serenade her. (Which is so much more romantic than anything Skip ever did.)
Bailey and Dimitri soon decided to get married and after many months of making plans, they married in a small private ceremony, which ended with Dimitri moving into the Barnsworth home.
